I think the best place to put a TV monitor would be at the center of the wall where everyone can see the television. It would also be a good idea not to put it in the corner.

In order to connect your computer to your television you have to have an input/output port that is compatible with the input ports on your television. If you have an HDTV, you will have to use a cable to connect your Television to your computer, you should be able to use an HDMI cable to link both of them together, and that will also allow for Audio. After you connect the two, turn off your computer and set it on the right input that will match the computer (otherwise you will NOT see a change). Turn on your computer, and you should be able to access the internet using your television as a monitor.
